Join us for a rewarding day outdoors as we prepare the trails for winter snow and skiing. Volunteers will help spread mulch, cut back brush, and assist with some buckthorn removal to keep the trails safe and enjoyable for winter use.
Responsibilities
Volunteers will spread mulch along designated trail sections, trim back
overgrown brush, and assist with removing buckthorn. Tasks may involve carrying
mulch, using hand tools, and working off trail. Instruction will be provided.
Qualifications
No prior experience is necessary. Volunteers should be comfortable walking on
uneven ground and working outdoors in varying conditions. A willingness to
learn and work as a team is important.
Additional
Notes
Please wear sturdy shoes or boots, long sleeves, and pants. Bring work gloves
if you have them. Tools, mulch, and guidance will be provided. Water,
sunscreen, and insect repellent are recommended.
