Trash
& Park Cleanup Volunteer
As a Trash & Park Cleanup Volunteer, you will help keep our parks clean,
safe, and enjoyable for all by picking up litter and supporting basic upkeep.
This is a simple but impactful way to care for your community and enjoy the
outdoors.
Responsibilities:
• Pick up litter and debris in park areas.
• Use provided tools or bags to collect trash safely.
• Report any large, hazardous, or sharp items to Parks staff. Do NOT handle needles.
• Work independently or with a team.
Qualifications:
• No prior experience required.
• Comfortable working outdoors.
• Able to bend, walk, and lift light debris.
• Must be dependable and have a positive attitude.

Notes:
All supplies will be provided. Volunteers should dress for the weather and wear
gloves if possible. Please check in with Parks staff or a lead volunteer for
cleanup zones and instructions.
