Bat Fest sponsored by Friends of Owen Conservation Park on Saturday, October 25th from 1:00pm-4:00pm. All are welcome!
To celebrate Bat Week 2025, Friends of Owen Conservation Park is sponsoring Bat Fest, an educational event for all ages. Join in activities to learn about bats, what you can do to help them, and the bat conservation our group is doing at the park.
INCLUDING:
+Dane County Humane Society staff presentation about their bat rehabilitation and release work (at our root cellar!)
+Mock bat count in our root cellar/ hibernaculum
+Bat house display and information about how to make and install your own
+And more fun, hands-on activities for bat fans of all ages!
