Help get Ride the Drive ready for thousands of participants! Set-Up Volunteers assist Madison Parks staff with preparing event hubs and route areas before the event begins. This role helps transform parks and streets into welcoming spaces for the day’s activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up barricades, tents, tables, cones, and activity areas
- Help unload and organize equipment delivered by City trucks
- Follow setup maps and directions provided by Madison Parks staff
- Prepare hub areas and route sections before participants arrive
- Continue setup on the roadway once streets close at 9:00am
Qualifications
- Comfortable helping with light lifting and moving event equipment
- Able to follow directions from Madison Parks staff
- Friendly, flexible, and ready to help where needed
