Volunteer Details:
Ride the Drive set up begins early in the morning at 7:30am when City trucks load and drop off equipment along the Five-mile route. There are four primary areas around the course to set up. Ride the Drive Event Staff will have maps, equipment lists and set up directions for each area. Duties will vary according to what is needed (set-up barricades, tents, tables, cones, activities, etc.). Your Madison Parks Staff will provide instruction and direction as needed throughout your shift.
Set-up volunteers will help get things set up in areas off the roads before 8:30am and then once the roads close at 9:00am, we can begin setting up booths, etc. on the actual road and in the park.
