Recognizing
the value of year-round outdoor recreation, the Adopt Ice Partnership relies on
dedicated volunteers to assist Parks staff with flooding the rink, removing
snow, and keeping the rink in good skating condition. By helping with these
tasks, volunteers ensure our community has additional ice skating rinks
available throughout the winter. Locations include Heritage Heights Park,
Hillington Green-Triangle Park, Nakoma Park, Olbrich Park (hockey rink),
Rennebohm Park, Sunset Park, Westmorland Park (general and hockey), and Wexford
Park. Volunteers are matched to local rinks based on interest and availability.
