This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with the public and supporting the smooth operation of a large community event. Responsibilities Sell Merchandise: Handle cash and make change while selling Ride the Drive merchandise such as t-shirts, tote bags, water bottles, and other event items. Answer Questions: Provide participants with basic information about the event route, schedule, and activities. Communication: Use the supplied walkie-talkie to stay in communication with Madison Parks staff throughout the shift. Afternoon Shift Duties: At approximately 2:30 pm, help inform participants that streets will reopen to traffic at 3:00 pm. End of Shift: Return the merchandise money bag and remaining items to Madison Parks staff. Safety: Encourage participants to respect private property and follow traffic rules.
